Health & Safety

How do we further improve workplace health and safety?

We aim to reduce stress and enhance well-being. We provide a safe and healthy work environment for all by complying with occupational health and safety rules and regulations wherever we operate. This means that we:

  • Respect internationally agreed guidelines on working hours
  • Do not tolerate any form of violence, including threats, intimidation or attempts to instill fear in others
  • Ban weapons of any kind in the workplace
  • Keep the work environment free from the abuse of alcohol and illegal drugs

What should I do?

Know and follow all health and safety instructions. Be familiar with all those that apply to your role, and report inaccuracies, gaps or missing signs.

Use good judgment to prevent accidents and injuries. Report these to your manager and seek first aid for all injuries — even minor ones.

Speak up about any unsafe working conditions, equipment or practices. Report them to your manager and escalate if necessary. This includes:

  • Excessive working hours
  • Appearance of weapons
  • Evidence or use of illegal drugs
  • Consumption of alcohol (unless approved at a Coty-sponsored event)
  • Use of prescription drugs that may cause a safety hazard

Q&A

A: Yes. Because it is a workplace injury, you should report it as one. All accidents and injuries need to be reported, no matter how minor they are.
