How do we prevent discrimination, harassment and bullying?

We provide equal employment opportunities and healthy work environments for our employees regardless of race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, social background, national origin, citizenship, marital status, political opinion, trade union membership or activities, veteran status, migrant workers or any other protected categories under applicable laws. Prohibited conduct includes:

Discriminatory conduct. Conduct or making decisions that are based on a protected category such as age, immigration or citizenship status, gender, national origin or any other one specified by law.

Harassment. Offensive or unwelcome behavior based on a protected category. Whether something is harassment depends on how the behavior affects others, regardless of intentions.

Bullying. Abusive conduct, such as humiliation, intimidation or insults, made for any reason.

What should I do?

Treat everyone with dignity and respect. Recognize that we are all unique individuals deserving of dignity and respect. Take care about how your actions affect others. 

Help prevent or eliminate discrimination, harassment and bullying. Examining your own behavior on the job to ensure that your conduct is respectful and not discriminatory in any way.  

Stand up for others. If you become aware of inappropriate conduct, report it and do not allow it to continue, regardless of who is creating the situation.
